I had the same issue when applying from the UK. I got my bank to print statements proving I had the income in excess of 65,000 Baht a month. They stamped each page and signed each stamp.

I then made 2 copies of all my supporting documents (bank statements, police check, medical....) and had the copies noterised. I applied in person at the Thai Embassy in London. If you are applying on line I would assume it is these noterised copies what you need to upload.

You may be getting confusing replies here. Is this an application for a new visa in your home country?

My advice would be to go as soon as possible. You can apply early, 45 days I believe. Your renewal date of 21st November will remain the same. If you leave it until the very last minute you are not making provision I'd the paperwork is not quite in order.

may have an impact but I doubt it. You apply fot the visa and CoE as an individual married to a Thai national and not as a couple.

I agree with you immigration offices must be very busy at the moment.

I am from the UK and I am definitely being treated better in Thailand than a foreigner would be in the UK.

knows much more about this than I do but it appears that all is good.

Your experience with immigration is a positive one. If you add in the Thai belief that everything will work out in the end you are in a good position.

To be honest all my interactions with Immigration have been positive apart from one time when I was 100% to blame.

I remember when I took that form to my doctor. His response was that he has been a GP for 40 years and have never seen a case of elephantitus so he was going to assume I didn't have it either. 😊

great question. The the non part of the name is short for non immigrant. So it doesn't give you any immigrant rights like residency or citizenship.

The O part stands for other. So it is not a tourist, business or education visa. The O covers a long list of situations the main ones are marriage, having or being a dependent, retirement, and volunteering.
