We are applying for OA visa. Where do I find medical form which needs signing before we leave UK.

We have two options for flights. We could fly Emirates from Bham or Tha Airways from Heathrow. Would it be better for us if we fly Thai?

Bham is the closest airport.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A reader is applying for an OA visa and needs assistance in locating the medical form that must be signed before departing the UK. They are also considering two flight options: Emirates from Birmingham or Thai Airways from Heathrow. Various comments suggest that the medical form refers to a 'fit to fly' certificate and provides links to the necessary documents. Additionally, experiences and recommendations about the flight options are shared, with some users suggesting Emirates due to added COVID-19 insurance.

You need a negative covid test and if you go to the right place you get a fit to fly certificate at the same time from the clinic.

Because of the Covid situation I’d do this first. All the very best. I’m on a retirement visa and have a re-entry. But can’t see me getting back anytime soon

Thank you. The way we’re doing is - download OA visa application form and fill it out. Get police check, bank details, insurance,ASQ booked, flights booked then send it all back to embassy in London and wait for Coe!

When we got our med cert for OA 2 years ago there was a link for a form to print & get signed on the embassy web site along with a link for the police check.

Our gp wasn't keen to sign it as mostly in Thai & he said there was no check in UK for elephanitus so he wrote a letter saying that we showed no signs of the listed diseases (covering his ass) which was accepted by the embassy.

I remember when I took that form to my doctor. His response was that he has been a GP for 40 years and have never seen a case of elephantitus so he was going to assume I didn't have it either. 😊

You mean "fit to fly"? You need a doctor - most likely private. Gogodoc was recommended by a friend.

not fit to fly. To get the OA Visa, there is a doctor form excluding arcane diseases
