No. UK citizen but UAE resident but we applied via London embassy

Hi

I just got my DTV (via London embassy)

They just wanted to see the money (THB500k) in the bank, they didn’t care if it had been in there for 3 days or 3 months.

I used a visa agent so I’m not sure if that had any sway but it was no issue.

Will an August bank statement suffice for my visa appointment in Vientiane if my bank only provides statements after the 4th of October?

My bank does this to me. I just called them and asked them to send me a statement showing “today” and they got it to me within 30 mins.

I don’t think you’ll have a problem but if you’re worried it’s worth calling your bank to see if they can get a recent statement to you.

Hi Tim. We’ve gone through an agent.

They sent us a list of the documents they needed. Included in that was the following sentence…

“A scanned copy of your flight ticket to Thailand or, if you have not purchased a ticket , please provide a tentative schedule for travelling to Thailand”

So we just provided a date.
