Hi everyone. I have a quick question before my appointment In Vientiane this Tuesday (2nd October).

My bank only provide statements after the 4th of every month, my appointment is on the 2nd which means I couldn’t produce a September statement to the embassy. Will giving them the August statement as the latest be a problem? I have more than 500k baht in the account way more than the required 3-6 months. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about not being able to provide a September bank statement for a visa appointment due to bank policies, as their appointment is on October 2nd. Responses suggest that providing the August statement should be acceptable, and it may also be possible to get a recent account balance from the bank. Additionally, one commenter reminds the user to double-check the appointment date, noting that October 1st is a Tuesday.

My bank does this to me. I just called them and asked them to send me a statement showing “today” and they got it to me within 30 mins.

I don’t think you’ll have a problem but if you’re worried it’s worth calling your bank to see if they can get a recent statement to you.

Make sure you have the correct day/date, as Tuesday is the 1st of October!

Aug statement should be no problem, they may ask to see your bank account on your mobile to confirm the latest balance.
