Oh you meant you can't get a visa in Jakarta if you're a non resident foreigner. You'll have to go to Thailand without a visa (if your nationality is on the list of the visa exempt, of course)

All non Thai are foreigners 😉

They give a tax payer number to any one with an official address in Thailand (even if you don't pay taxes) if you ask for it.

Double taxation treaty:

If you get income in the foreign country and you are taxed in that country, you won't pay tax in Thailand.

If you get income in Thailand and you're taxed in Thailand, you won't pay tax in the other country.

The aim is to avoid being taxed twice, once the name "double taxation".

There is no treaty saying you won't pay tax in the foreign country on your foreign income if you're resident in Thailand and vice versa

All PCR tests are RT-PCR, but the Thai authorities told their staff that people entering the kingdom should have a RT-PCR, so they expect the full name of the test to be written on the certificate as they are not medics.

No reason to have issues with visa exemption. This is a perfectly legal way to enter Thailand if you meet other requirements.

Yep, when money arrive into your account, just go to the branch and ask them for that paper. They will receive it from their overseas money transfer department within a couple of hours.
