morning Max. Banking is the primary criteria for getting a Visa. I think it is a very valid and suitable question to ask in this group as it does relate to visas. Cheers
My bank book filled up a couple months ago I went into a local branch not my main branch and got a new Passbook. They looked at the app on my phone signed documents and took my picture as well as looked at my passport. About 3 weeks ago I was locked out for 1 hour and when I checked again my account was open again no issues since. When I got the new passbook I think the service representative took care of everything for me so I would not get locked out. This was not done at my home branch but at a satellite branch in the mall close to my home. It was Bangkok Bank. Thankful for that service representative who helped me out to avoid any big issues such as what is happening now.
I recently had difficulties trying to open the bank account. I was finally successful about 3 weeks ago at a standalone Kasikorn Bank branch. The requirements were my passport and in the passport a Non O Visa my extension of stay for one year and not a copy but the original lease agreement with my owner lots of signing lots of paperwork out with my new account in about 40 minutes. The main thing the bank had told me was a copy of the lease agreement was not acceptable it had to be the original. I did not need anything from immigration
well said. To boot the guys nothing but a rude and insulting small man. The coward even does not accept private messages from anybody. It's pretty obvious where his support lies in his attitude and words.
