I own 9 properties (residential & commercial) in the UK, which are held within my limited company. I’m 46 and I’m slowly offloading them to DCA into the global stock market as it’s more tax efficient. The investments will still be held within my limited company. The plan is once I’m 50 I can apply for an LTR visa.

I allocate 90% of my portfolio to the global stock market and 10% to gold. However, no one should invest without first having an emergency fund. Investing is a long term strategy ideally 5 to 10 years or more, because both of these assets can be volatile. Believe it or not gold has actually been more volatile than the global stock market the past 30 years

I might just use the deposit to live on for 4 years. Presumably it’s tax exempt as it back dates to 2015?
