What an inconsistent mess, not surprised, nothing released is really thought through carefully. It’s reminds me of new roads etc they build, usually they suddenly open but none of the signage , road markings have been finished🤦🏻‍♀️

how that's a lot of travelling, what business did you put down on the dtv application?

Previously denied entry because it was damaged, what kind of damage, must have been severe?🤔

What were you doing with your passport in the rain, it's the most important document and needs protecting at all times.. anyway can't see what the problem is, just don't highlight the issue going through immigration 🤫

I was just referring to those that might break the rules of DTV and leave the country where they chose to apply, before their application has been approved, it’s just not a very smart idea

this is simple not true, Immigration decide who enters or doesn’t enter the Kingdom, they are all powerful, doesn’t matter if you have a DTV, if the rules have been broken applying for a DTV you could easily be refused entry on a later trip.

In Thailand I would strongly recommend don’t people don’t try to be a “smart Alec”. Always follow the laws, as you are a foreigner in their Country, it doesn’t matter if Thais break rules, etc,

Also never overstay, keep within the rules and you will have nothing to be concerned about.

I don’t understand why applicant would leave the country they have applied in and return to Thailand before being granted a DTV (unless they have been refused one) The costs would outweigh having to stay a few extra days in the country you applied🤷🏿‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

never underestimate the powers of immigration, they decide who enters or doesn’t enter the Kingdom, even with a DTV!

They can easily catch you out and could refuse entry to Thailand on your DTV for not following the rules of application. The new TDAC will easily show them, you broke the rules, now they have started to ask people well into the process for proof you are still in the country of application, if you have left, the DTV is likely to be declined and B10,000 lost. You might get lucky but clearly they are setting new traps for a few rule breakers, anyway each to his own but don’t coming crying on the thread if that scenario plays out.
