I spent about 2500-3k in Bangkok my first 1.5 years here. Bangkok prices can be so different just a few stations down the BTS.

Where you trying be in Thailand. The prices very wildly. In Pattaya I spend 3000k USD a month for a central location clubbing every weekend eat out daily. In Udon Thani, I spend less than 1500 USD. I’ve got places in both and my wife and I split out time between.

Join the military now.(should have enlisted at 17) Go serve 20 years, buy at least 1 duplex at each duty station. When getting out make sure every injury is documented to get 100% disabled from the VA. So after 20 years you’ve got a pension, disability check and rental income from at least 10doors. That’s how I did it and what my son’s working on now.

that’s one way to think about. But I’m already living on a very nice budget(substantially more than most in the states make)and still investing. When I go my kids and grandkids will be set. Generational wealth. Why keep letting everyone grind when they don’t need too. Money makes money.
