Hi, I went to MTT a few days ago and got my loop closed and extended until January 29, 2021. I had entered Thailand in March on tourist exempt and was on amnesty and now is my second time extending because of covid 19... my question is do I have to do 90 day reporting? When I was at MTT a few days ago I went to the 90 day reporting counter to do it and the officer told me no, that tourists still here because of covid do not have to do 90 day reporting, and only need to file for extension. I just want to confirm is this correct and other people’s experience? Because everything I had read online had led me to believe no one is exempt from 90 day reporting. Thank you

Hi to all. I just want to ask a question, my visa will expired this Nov. 30.

My question is, do we still need to pay? or just like before just give the passport for stamp?

Because, we paid for 1900 to extend until last week of October, before they said the amnesty will extend on Oct 31st.

Im just a bit confused actually.

Dear Visa seeking folks! For amnesty extension at Samui immigration you will need;

Your landlord to complete the TM30 registration on the immigration website, and bring with you the registration code - ideally as screenshot (this is a new and essential step!)

Three forms, all of which you can obtain here at immigration.

1 x passport pic.

Copies of passport I.D. page, tm6 form, and your last entry stamp, all must be signed and dated(you an do here at immigration)

Fee of 1,900b

After submission you will be able to return after lunch to collect.

You will receive a 14 day visa and will then need to return in 2 weeks when your “under consideration” stamp will be converted to the full 60-days.

Good luck! 🙏🏻💕

Does anyone have a direct link Thai or English to the announcement in October that when the last Amnesty ended on 31st and you had a letter from your embassy then you could apply for a 60 day extension afterwards.

I remember one saying indefinite 60 day extensions until the borders returned to normal.

Thank you

Amnesty post Nov 30 extension update. Went to promenade cm immigration. Amnesty extension processing location has now moved back to airport. Showed email from us embassy saying the will not issue letter and was able to get 30 day extension to Dec 30. They said 30 or 60 days is case by case, but didn’t see anyone getting 60 days.

I have a non-immigrant multi O visa that is due to expire in January 2021. I arrived in March and due to Covid I was on amnesty up until September 21st when I went to Chiang Mai Immigration to get a 60 day extension based on being married to my Thai wife. I deposited the 400k into my Bangkok Bank account the same day. My stamp says that I am permitted to stay until November 26th.

My question is when do I need to go back to Immigration. I understand that I need to prove 2 months of deposited money which would make it November 20th but I am concerned that it will be too late. Am I worrying over nothing? When should I go to Immigration for the yearly spouse visa extension?

Thanks in advance.
