Hypothetical: I have secured the DTV and live here for a year or so… I then decide to move to another country for a couple of years before moving back to Thailand.. do you think the DTV would still work?

I’ve got no plans that far in advance just curious as 5 years is a long time.. the last 5 years I lived in Bangkok 2019 for 2.5 years and Sydney for 2.5 years before moving back to LTOS!

Hello, a couple questions about the 90 day report:

I'm on non-o visa since mid February, extended to 1 year in mid May (spouse of Thai citizen), and now believe I am due to notify the kingdom this weekend (first report). However, I recently traveled internationally and reentered on August 3rd.

On the immigration site's 90 day report form, at the bottom is an important note that reads, "If a foreigner leaves the country and reenters, the day count starts at 1 in every case". That means I don't have to bother with doing the report, right?

Second question: if I leave for more than 90 days and come back just before the visa expires, do I still need to do the report, or would I lose the visa, or what happens?

If you already made 3 visa runs (outbid Thailand and return same day) what is the minimum duration (how many days) you need to stay out of Thailand so you won’t have an issue on reentry?

Anyone knows about this please? If I have a one-year ED visa for learning Thai language (real study), can I take leave 2 times for going back to my home country during the year? Heard that student can only take 1 time leave Thailand, and no more than 7 days. Otherwise, there may be problem when reentering Thailand and also may not get extend of the ED visa during the year. Anyone have the real experience of this please? As I may need to back home for 2 times,1 for Christmas (for 2 weeks) and 1 for Chinese New Year (for 2-3 weeks). Need to plan ahead.

Thank you.

Hi all, me and my partner (both UK passport holders) are flying into Bangkok on the 14th February and flying out of Bangkok on the 23rd May. In this time we’re planning on visiting multiple other countries in Southeast Asia, but we were hoping to start by spending ~2 weeks in Northern Thailand before exiting via land into Laos. We’d then be hoping to reenter Thailand around the start of April via land from Cambodia. But we’re struggling to find online whether this would work with the 30/45 day visa exempt entry and wondered if any of you could help us? Are we able to use this kind of entry multiple times, would the 30/45 days reset? Or do we need to buy some kind of multi-entry visa beforehand instead? If someone could explain or point me in the right direction that would be great. We’d also then be hoping to enter Bangkok again via plane in time for our flight back on the 23rd May, however if we’re not able to use the visa exemption multiple times we would just stay within the airport.

Hi great group, very informative, UK passport holder always flown in and out from UK, history is Visa exempt month late Aug 18 to Sep 18, UK 3 weeks, then Visa exempt mid Oct 18 to Nov 18, UK to early Jan 19 the Visa exempt plus extension to early Mar 19, UK to mid May 19, then Visa exempt plus extention ending mid Jul 19. Sounds a lot to me, but I work when I need to and like to holiday a lot, not 50 yet. Would enjoy 1 or 2 more months of sunshine so question is if I go to penang by land (say that as a friend going same time) mid July, would they be likely to grant me a 60 day tourist Visa or flat turn me away at reentry. I know it's probably a bit subjective and the answer could be just maybe, but if everyone says "no worries" great, if everyone says "no chance" then I just go to UK, sorry for the length, but would value your opinions please.

My O-A visa was orginaly issued in Frankfurt. I entered the Kingdom on 03.12.2018. Please see image below. I have read in various posts that people who hold O-A visas can simply obtain an extension by leaving and reentering Thailand. I live in Korat. German citizen.

Question: What date would be the last eligible date to reenter Thailand.

How long do I have to be out of Thailand prior to coming back.

Do I have to do this by air

Final question. How do I finally convert my O-A

visa to a O type..based on extention

Thank you in advance
