Hello, a couple questions about the 90 day report:
I'm on non-o visa since mid February, extended to 1 year in mid May (spouse of Thai citizen), and now believe I am due to notify the kingdom this weekend (first report). However, I recently traveled internationally and reentered on August 3rd.
On the immigration site's 90 day report form, at the bottom is an important note that reads, "If a foreigner leaves the country and reenters, the day count starts at 1 in every case". That means I don't have to bother with doing the report, right?
Second question: if I leave for more than 90 days and come back just before the visa expires, do I still need to do the report, or would I lose the visa, or what happens?
TLDR : Answer Summary
A 90-day report is required if you stay in Thailand for 90 continuous days on your visa. If you travel outside Thailand and re-enter, your countdown resets, meaning you won't need to report until you've been back for 90 days. If you leave Thailand for over 90 days and return before your visa expires, the reporting requirement remains unaffected as long as you are back in the country before your current visa extension ends.
