TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around whether it is permissible to leave Thailand within the first two months of holding a newly issued visa, specifically while engaged in the soft power initiative related to Muay Thai training for six months. Responses indicate that as long as the travel aligns with the purpose of the visa (e.g., Muay Thai), travelers can leave and re-enter the country freely. However, there are humorous comments about the potential scrutiny from immigration officials regarding the nature of the activities associated with the visa.

Unless it says Muay Thai on your DTV Immigration won't even know how you got it.

Well not really... If you have DTV for Muy Thai you have to beat the biggest immigration officer in a fight before they let you out. Likewise in the case of cooking classes they usually ask to taste your pad ka pao mou sap kai dhao (mai sook) so better bring your own pan in a separate luggage.

As long as it fits in the scheme of your soft power activity, you can come and go as you want.

on ED Visa it was a problem to leave the country while you should be "at language class". So they assumed that you weren't actually going to class, but were just using your visa to stay longer as a tourist. That often led to them cancelling the visa. But thats not a problem with DTV.

well you book a course which has a 6 month duration. Leaving after 2 months implies no interest etc..with ED Visa Thai language you‘d get interviewed for sure

don't take the soft power activity serious, they only need a ticket for 5 years entrance in Thailand and abuse the DTV for this, discussion with them is useless.

I just live in reality, not an alternatve reality, don't worry. It is just funny how people like you try to interpret rules in a way that fits you best, like saying attendance of soft power activity is not required. You seem to forget you apply for a visa to get possibility to attend a soft power requirement. So it surely is required to attend, just maybe not enforced, which people like you and other abusers might like.

of course I have fun, it's quite funny to see how people like you try their best to interpret rules in such a way as to try and justify the improper use of the DTV visa.

so by that logic , if you do an English ED Visa in Thailand you would also get checked , which is not the case. Also if you do ED Visa Muay Thai or cooking, immigration doesn’t check you ! Only if you study Thai in ED you get controlled ! You cannot even compare non Imm visa with each other. Logic doesn’t apply based on your argument !
