After 7 years of multi entry non O family visa and just expired just noticed that multi is now not a option and only single entry non O is the new which is bad for me as I leave and come back home every month. Carry a British passport and for sure can come in on VOA but for how long and how many times before start questioning me and they clearly see the amount of times I've been in. Just been to see my local immigration and even they are bewildered as to why this visa has changed. Seem to be making it harder for young family's to live here. Anyone in same situation?

Called Doha where I have had my last 6-7 years and they was same didn’t know why it changed.

Hopefully this will change soon seems like trying push young people to the elite visa.

Hi, I need some advice. I’m planning to go back to Thailand on a single entry tourist visa in a few months and do plan to stay the 60days. I will have a flight back to the UK and accomodation proof as well. It will have been 8 months since my last visit which was a visa exemption changed to a 6 months education visa which i left to come back to England one month earlier than the expiry date. When I go back, in the last two years I’ve had one single entry tourist visa which I extended for 30 days, two visa exemptions (one was 16 days holiday) and the other was the one I mentioned above converting to education visa. I’m just worried about Thai immigration as I’ve heard they can be very strict sometimes and worried about education visa stamp on my passport. I did attend classes and can understand and speak Thai a little bit but still slightly nervous. I know I don’t have as many entries as other people but just not sure as Immigration at Phuket airport can be unpredictable. Any advice welcome!

Hi - what would be the best way to stay 4-6 months in Thailand? I will be coming from UK

Single Entry Visa: 60+30 days (90 total). A border run should give me another 60 days if I am correct when I arrive back at immigation, for 5 months total?

Multiple Entry Visa: 60+30 days (90 total). A border run will give me another 60+30 days automatically upon re-entering Thailand for up to 6 months total?

I was hoping to do a border run by air after the 80 day mark, is it important that I stay in the neighbouring country for atleast 1 night with the single or multiple entry visa, or will it not make a difference for the latter as the visa has already been pre-approved?

Thank you!

Hello everyone

Please don't roast me 🥹

My flight is scheduled for 24th December but I applied for my single entry visa to Thailand on 13th Dec(Friday) and made the visa fee payment successfully. My application has been on processing pending document check(1) since then.

I am feeling nervous about it 😓

I am currently a US passport holder in Thailand I arrived on a 90 day type O. Visa, I am wondering, can I extend that while I am in Thailand or do I have to leave and come back in to get 60 more days? It is single entry visa.

Hello

We finally received the visa for my husband.

Nationality: Iraqi

Resident: Belgium

Visa : single entry tourism

In the past the visa stated the max date of entry and the visa length (2 months). But this has changed.

It states-valid from- and -valid until-

Does that mean he can (in theory) arrive 3 Oct and leave the 29 Dec ?

I don’t see a max validity in days on it.

Thanks advice

A quick question about the e-visa situation from Thai embassy London. When applying for a SINGLE ENTRY non immigrant visa o based on Thai wife they ask for proof of either 400k or having a monthly income in the UK of over 40k per month. Everywhere else I've ever applied for my single entry they do not require this. My question is is this the e-visa website failing to properly consider single entry requirements or is this actually the requirements for a single entry from the UK.

Hello All,

I have a couple of questions regarding a Non O Visa for Guardianship of a Thai Minor (My Son).

1) Is there anyway to get a 1 year Multiple Entry right away or must it be a 90 day single entry 1st and then later upgraded to a 1 year Multiple?

2) If I do an E Visa application for this does the visa start from the day it's granted to you or the day you enter Thailand with it?

3) Does anyone know what documents are required for number 5 in the picture below?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

a question about Thailand visa.

I am supposed to enter Thailand for the third time (in a year) in August. The Thai Consulate in Italy advised me to apply for the single entry visa (35 euro). They claim that entry would be at the discretion of immigration and that the exemption now is for only 2 entries of maximum 60 days each.

The problem is that to apply for the visa I need an entry/exit air ticket and 15 business days, which I do not have because I would like to arrive in Bangkok in mid-August. Do you think I might have problems? I can't find on any official website that the maximum entry limit is 2 time in a year.

Thank you very much!
