I have received my single entry Thailand visa, for my visit in November, I may want to leave and return to Thailand within the permit duration.
Can someone please tell me where in the airport I get a re entry stamp, to avoid losing my permit.
Answer summary
A user inquired about obtaining a re-entry stamp for their single entry Thailand visa during an upcoming trip. Community members clarified that typically, a single entry visa cannot be re-entered without a re-entry permit. At Suvarnabhumi Airport, the re-entry desk is located after the security check in the Departure Zone. Travelers should inform an Immigration officer that they want to purchase a re-entry permit, which costs 1200 Baht. Members also discussed specific visa types, emphasizing that re-entry permits can help extend the validity of the initial stay.

Seriously, have you thought carefully about the words “SINGLE ENTRY”🤦🏻♀️
Re–Entry Permits are AFTER security at Departures Immigration Zone #2 at Suvarnabhumi Airport, but Need to tell a Departures Immigration Officer that you want a Re–Entry Permit
at the BKK Suvarnabhumi Airport, the re-entry desk is in the section DEPARTURE 2. You walk through the security, and when you approach the Immigrations desks and the automated exit gates, tell an Immigration officer that you want to buy a single re-entry permit. They will direct you to the desk where you can buy it for 1200 Baht
Stéphane Muller of course you can buy a re-entry permit to be used to keep the 60-days stay permit of a single entry tourist visa alive and active, if you plan to leave Thailand at any time during this 60-days period.
Stéphane Muller Yes you can. If you have a setv 60 days you can leave with a re entry permit and come back but you only get until the 60 days previous stamp you dont get any extra days added
Stéphane Muller You can definitely get a Re–Entry Permit ink stamp for Single Entry E–Visa's, such as Single Entry Tourist E–Visa (SETV) or Single Non–O E–Visa after one has used their Single Entry Thai E–Visa for making Entry into Thailand
Wayne Roberts there are no customs when you are extiting Thailand. You pass the security check in DEPARTURE 2, and then approach the Immigration desks and the automated gates, and you need to tell the Immigration staff that you wish to buy a re-entry permit. The re-entry permit desk used to be before Immigration, it has been moved to an area right behind Immigration
