OHi all booked my flight 2 months ago for a 4 month stay in ban chang at my own condo nw the rules have changed from 60 days to 30 days on arrival ,if I apply for single entry gives me 60 days then 30 days at immigration meaning total of 90 days can I go to load and apply there for another set visa and return to Thailand to complete my 4 months advice would be much appreciated or I'll half to change my flight and cost £300 many thanks 🙏👍

this is what I plan for a 4 month stay. Single entry tourist visa, after 58 days travel to penang for a few days. Come back in and get stamp for 30 days and then extent that another 30 at immigration.

Even before when it was 60 day free entry you would have been able to only get one 30-day extension giving you 90 days. What were you going to do for the extra 30 days you planned to stay? You're correct, to get the same time in country you'd have to apply for a single entry tourist visa, via the eVisa online website through the thai consulate in your country. Come here get stamped in for 60 days, take the one 30 day extension at the immigration office in the area where you stay from 1900baht. But you're still only at 90 days. You're going to have to exit and reenter the country to come back in on a free stamp 30 day entry to stay the planned 4 months
