Searched and just didn't find a suitable answer so please excuse if this has been covered and I glazed over it.

Scenario :

I am currently on 2nd year of non-OA visa, good until late April.

I have prints of original visa, now technically expired.

I have prints of required insurance good through late April.

The original visa is 'multiple entry'.

Neither 'stamp' in my passport shows any reference to 'multiple entry', year 1 or 2, that I can tell.

I may need to return 'home' for a short period. My biggest question is, will my multiple entry still be honored? What should I do in anticipation when leaving and returning? I expect to have prints of the original visa and the current insurance going and returning.

What can/should I expect?

Thanks!

If I apply for a tourist visa, can I fly back to my country and re enter Thailand without the tourist visa expiring? I read that I need a re-entry permit for this.

If there is a family emergency I would have to fly back and forth. But it would be a shame to lose the tourist visa. Can you get the re-entry permit on short term?

I hold a non oa retirement visa with extension valid until 17 Dec 2022. I paid for a single re-entry permit. I just returned from Laos and they stamped me in only until 10 Aug 2022. Is this correct?

Also, do I need to check in with Udon thani immigration?

Hello, I have a question about ED visas (Education visa). My university is providing a one entry education visa for September for 6 months. I need to leave the country in December (3 months after) but being a one entry visa how does it work? Can I pay a reentry fee and keep the same visa? Does the month that I am away will be discounted from 6 months visa or the visa freezes when I leave?

Thank you very much!!

I will be retiring in Thailand next July, but I plan to travel outside of Thailand at least once a year. I am planning to get a non-O or non-OA visa (and extension), but its still not clear to me which one is preferable in my case.

From researching the Visa options, I realize that there are some Non-Immigrant visa (or their extension) which allow re-entry back into Thailand while others do not. However, you can obtain separate re-entry permit for these latter types of Visas.

What are the pros and cons of getting a Visa option that allows re-entry vs one that requires a separate re-entry permit? Is it just a cost and convenience issue?

Hi, this is a post about visa re-entry permits. I want to know if the office at Suvarnabumi is still there and if it is open 24 hours. I'm going to leave Thailand Friday late afternoon. Thanks for your help

Hi guys.

I am a uk citizen married to a Thai woman.

I have a flight ticket return from London for 4 months.

I will enter Thailand on January 15 by air.

I will be going to Vietnam for a holiday around January 20.

Not sure how long I will stay in Vietnam.

Could be 5 days could be more.

Will be looking for a teaching job.

My question. Do I :

1. Get a non o visa based on marriage from London. ( single 90 days ) £50.

* can I pay 1000 baht at airport when I fly to Vietnam for re - entry permit to keep it alive.

2. Enter on 30 day exempt, fly to HCMC and get non o year visa for 5000 baht.

( non proof of funds )

Thanks for any thoughts.

By the way, my friend is staying in BKK. Thank you for your advice.

Hi there can you please clarify the following for me.

I'm planning on moving to thailand next year. I would like to know:

Having the non-immigrant B visa ( teaching), in holidays would I be able to fly back home to south africa. Or is the non-immigrant B visa only a single entry visa? What would I need to get to be able to fly home and return to thailand, and can i apply for it in thailand?

Would one also suggest that it's better to buy a return ticket as well, or is it ok to fly in on a one way ticket? Thank you.

Good evening everyone..

I am actually in Thailand on a 60 days (single entry) tourist Visa but wanted now to go for some days to Malaysia.. I only arrived beginning of March, so I did not even use yet 30 days of it.. Afterwards my plan was to come back to Thailand and to stay here until the end of May.

What are my options now?

Is it possible to transform my single-entry visa in a multi-entry visa?

Or should I just reenter to Thailand on the visa exemption of 30 days and then extend it on a local immigration office? Or can you only extend the official visa on which I am staying now in Thailand.

(Maybe another challenge is that I will have my flight back to Europe from Bangkok, this means I will need another two days in the month of June..)

I hope my questions are clear. Thank you in advance for your answers 😊

Have all a nice evening!
