I am from Bangladesh. I will go to Thailand to pursue my PhD. I have got a Non IMM ED visa. But some other students have got Non ED Plus. Can I convert my visa category to Non ED Plus after arriving in Thailand.

I know that opening up a bank account on the DTV can be difficult, so I am thinking of other options. I basically just want the convenience of being able to use my phone to pay and not having to carry cash around everywhere. Would revolut or wise accounts work for this? Is there anyone that uses their revolut or wise accounts for this and what are the fees?I am trying to decide which account to get. Thanks

Question about leaving & entering with the DTV. I currently have the DTV for soft power (Muay Thai) and received it a few weeks back and I’m in thailand now.

I’m going on holiday to Vietnam next week and do I need to show them the actual pdf of the visa when leaving and re entering or is the stamp on my passport good enough?

Anyone that has left and re entered using the DTV please let me know your experience.

Has anyone successfully changed the way they qualify for a retirement extension, from the money in the bank to monthly income, at the Jomtien office? And before anyone asks, yes I have maintained the proper amount in the bank for a year, as well as transferred in the 65,000 each month for a year.

I’m a freelance programmer, and I work with a platform called xolo.io to issue invoices. My agreement with them is a partnership agreement.

I’m in Hanoi, trying to get a DTV, and the embassy keeps asking for an official certified business registration of my company.

I don’t have a registered company; I’m a freelancer, like someone working on Fiverr.

I sent them my agreement with xolo and two contracts with clients, but it seems they got confused and think the client contract represents my company.

I’m not sure what to do. Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

hello there, As a Thai tax resident and DTV holder, do I need to pay any taxes if I’m not transferring money to a Thai bank account, and I’m only using my credit/debit cards from my home country? I’m also withdrawing small amounts of cash from ATMs using my home country's bank cards.

I had submitted my application on December 11th in Cambodia and pending now.

The thing is that I have 14 days visa and my visa expires on the 23rd, so should I extend it?

My husband got his DTV visa over 2 months ago and we have moved from Hong Kong to Thailand.

Yesterday I applied for my spousal DTV visa in Hong Kong, submitted all required documents and my personal bank statements for 6 months which exceeds 500,000Baht.

Within 4 hours of submission I was asked for my husband’s bank statements for the past 3 months, which is since he was approved for the DTV. With covering the coasts of an international move, shipping and flying our dogs over, his balance has dropped below the 500,000 Baht.

I’m hoping this won’t result in my application being rejected even though I have my own accounts with more than the required minimums for the both of us. Feeling worried 😟

Please approve for extra knowledge.

Hi can anyone help. I am currently on a Non-immigrant O Visa issued from UK Thai Embassy. I am applying to change to a 1 year Married Visa. TM7 Form attached is part of the application. The section at the bottom asks...." I hereby apply for extension period of temporary stay in the Kingdom for.........days"

Question - is 90 or 365 days I enter here, assume it's 90?
