I'm travelling from the the UK early next year and intend to stay for 86 days, using my 60 day visa exemption and then extending for a further 30 days. I know I'll need an onward ticket within the 60 days in case the airline asks for it but what documents will I need to take to the immigration office when I extend?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When planning to extend your stay in Thailand beyond the initial 60 days of visa exemption, you should prepare specific documents for the immigration office. Commonly required documents include your passport, a completed visa extension application form, recent passport-sized photographs, proof of accommodation, and possibly an onward travel ticket. Since requirements may vary by immigration office, it's advisable to check the specific requirements at your location. Additionally, having a return or onward ticket is recommended to avoid issues with the airline.
