If I'm going to Laos, especially if it's to apply for a DTV visa, can I just go by bus? To get a visa on entry, they say one needs to have a return ticket already booked, and the same goes for the Thai embassy in Laos when applying for DTV.
My question: can this return ticket simply be a return bus ticket? Or does it necessarily have to be a plane ticket? And if so, please explain why. I need answers from people who have a clear answer from someone who knows, not someone who's just guessing and think they know.
I am flying back to Bangkok tomorrow. Do I need to show a return ticket if the airline asks for it? I already have my e-boarding pass, so I shouldn’t have to interact with them, but I just wanted to be sure.
I had my DTV approved from Laos Vientiane Embassy under workation category. If you are going to apply yours at the same place and have any questions, I'm happy to help out 😊
Do I need return ticket to board the flight to Cambodia (phnom penh)?
As I was planning to fly from Thailand to apply DTV, and I might probably use the border land travel route to go back in to the Thailand for new experiences.
Applied in person at Dubai Consulate. Needed some slight rewording on the letter from my company. They told me what it needed to say, resubmitted yesterday and pick up passport tomorrow.
I'm applying for a 60 day tourist visa from the US. I'm buying a round trip ticket with a return date 71 days from the date I depart. I plan to extend before my 60 days are up. Will that be an issue when I arrive in Thailand going through immigration at the airport, because my departure is beyond 60 days?
I am an Indian, currently residing in US, and planning to visit Thailand in April. I know Indians have a 30-day visa exemption currently. I want to know can that be extended? If I want to be there for 37 days, what should I do? Request immigration officer?
Also, I will be staying in a monastery for 30 days. Do I need to book return ticket in advance of 30 days from the date of arrival in Thailand? Also, do I need to show the immigration officer anything about my stay?
Hi guys, question might sound silly but I have a good reason.
I only plan on staying in Thailand for one week, and I am eligible for visa exemption too.
If I get a 60day tourist visa (I have my reasons) will do IO ask to see return ticket? And if they do, then I show return ticket for one week after arrival will it cause any problems? (ie you're eligible for visa exemption, why do you want to enter on 60day tourisr visa?)
Again, I know it sounds silly, but I need that visa for a reason.
Sirs: I will arrive in Thailand from USA applying for TOURIST VISA ON ARRIVAL with a departure time of 42 days later in January 2024 (I'll have a return ticket) However i will leave Thailand on Day 13 from my arrival Date in Thailand to a trip in Saigon. I WILL have a Departure Date and Return Ticket to Thailand 7 days before i leave on DAY 40 (2 days before Original Visa on Arrival Expires to travel home). Can I do this and return and just apply for Another 15 day Tourist Visa On Arrival to finish up my time in Thailand? Hate to have a round trip ticket from USA and cannot get back into Thailand. Thank You for your attention and help!!
