Which countries still allow walk-in applications for the DTV visa in 2025? Asking for someone since I already have mine!

does anyone know if sydney embassy is asking for just a closing balance ( proof of funds) or if i require months of statements? ( sydney please not canberra as i live in nsw)

I want to add that this is a standard rule in other countries, which is why I wonder if Thailand also has this.

What is the general rule regarding staying in Thailand under visa exemptions? I was recently denied entry after spending a total of around 150 days in Thailand over the past few months using visa exemptions.

My question is: does this reset when the new calendar year begins, or will immigration still see my previous stays in their system and deny me entry unless I obtain a proper visa?

My wife and I have non-Immigrant O retirement visas that will renew on 29 January. We plan to renew them this week, as they can be renewed up to 45 days in advance.

We also plan to get multiple re-entry permits at the same time. My question is this: I plan to leave Thailand on 7 January. Will the new re-entry permits cover us, or will they only take effect after the visa renewal is official?

Maybe I'm being ridiculous worrying about it (that's what my wife says), but I'd like to be sure.

I have 2 UK banks (and a Thai bank). 1 with 500k+ and one with under 500k.

Unfortunately I only have the card for the one with under.

Is it required to present the physical card, or will 6m of statements (from the 500k bank) but no card suffice?

Hello, I got my DTV approved yesterday and I would like to thank all of you for the information and help that is provided in this forum.

Here are the steps of my application, if it can be useful for anybody:

11/12 applied online through the Rome embassy and provided all the documents required under the workcation (remote worker) category.

13/12 request to upload additional information such as “Updated Official bank statement showing applicant's details and current available balance of not less than 500,000 THB” (I had uploaded a bank statement which dated back to October and a screenshot of my current balance) and “ticket departing”

17/12 approval

Now the next challenge will be to open a bank account, and I know it won’t be easy at all, or eventually impossible.

But this is another story 🙂

Hi all , I have submitted my 90 days report via online on Dec12 (not first time) , But right now the status is still pending. I must be waiting for approve or go to immigration?

Hi everyone, I understand that the ETA general rollout has been delayed. Does anyone knows when it will be in place? The Thai government site doesn't provide any info. It looks like ETA is now available for now for travelers from a limited numer of countries.

Any details is appreciated.
