hi lovely people! i just wanted to thank you to everyone who has contributed in this group

i got my DTV from manila in 17 days (longer than expected because there were holidays such as songkran and easter)

i applied under remote worker and what i wanted to suggest to you

read the requirements for the process and the posts in this group very carefully

you can search your questions and find out the answers

triple check everything before submitting

the embassy contacted my employer and i did not know it, so they had been waiting for an answer from them, i learned about this when i contacted them via e-mail, they respond and they are very nice so don't hesitate to contact them

wishing everyone's process is easy

Hi everyone! I have a few questions about the DTV application:

- The website doesn’t list my city in France when I try to enter my home address.

So I used my sister’s address instead (different city).

But all my freelance-related documents show my real address (the one that’s missing from the site.)

āž”ļø Will that be a problem?

- I’m applying from Bali and I’m French. I know I need to translate all the documents,

but I don’t want to pay 40€ per page like the websites suggest.

I plan to translate them myself.

āž”ļø Has anyone done this?

āž”ļø Is it okay to only translate the main parts of the bank statements (not every small transaction full of codes and letters)?

- The 15,000€ are not on my current account, but on a savings account (called ā€œLivret Aā€ in France).

It still shows up at the end of my bank statement.

āž”ļø Is that acceptable?

Thanks so much for your help!

Really appreciate any advice!

Hello,

I am thinking of applying for a DTV from Vietnam and though I read many posts here I am still unsure whether the 500000 baht have to be in my bank account for 6 months? If not how long? Also, they have to be in one bank account or is it allowed to show several account that together have that sum?

Just entered with TDAC. Easy application except for the clumsy country drop down lists. Doesn't seem to have made any improvement on immigration but not an issue for me as my flight always arrives early morning.

Hi all! I am currently stuck in Bali awaiting my daughter’s DTV. My DTV was approved a little over a week ago. What should have been a 12 day vacation has turned into 18 days. In Thailand, my daughter will be my dependent until she’s 20 yrs old. She’s currently 18. If we leave Bali before her DTV gets approved, will she still be covered under my DTV as my dependent, every 180 days when we have to do a border run or go to immigrations?

looking for advice/suggestions on paying in Thailand -without- a Thai bank account for things like bills, rent, services, etc.

List of apps I found mentioned:

- Tag Thai, True Money (issues with limited top up)

- Moreta Pay (Biz QR codes only it seems, not personal QR)

- Wise card (good for rent, not sure about bills and services)

- Jamjang (not looked into this yet)

please comment if you have experience using them so we can help others in here. or if you know of a reliable way you've been using yourself.

I understand getting a Thai bank account is the best way, but not all will be so lucky to get one. so instead of doing that, I'm looking for other solutions.

looking forward to reading your helpful comments.

Hey, can you guys share your experience of entering on dtv? Just saw in the group there have been instances of unwanted srutinization while entering on the dtv? Someone said they were asked to show all the docs, they used while applying. This would be very inconvenient given some of us applied physically and don't have all the docs handy.
