Hello, it’s my first time applying for DTV, I was wondering if it’s necessary to submit and house tenancy agreement as part of my application for the Visa? I was planning to either stay at a hotel and look for a more permanent place once my visa is approved. Is it a common thing to do and could I get some advice on it? Thank you very much

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa in Thailand, submitting a house tenancy agreement is not a standard requirement. Many applicants have successfully submitted their applications without one, often using a hotel address as their temporary accommodation. However, some embassies may have varying requirements, so it's advisable to check with your specific case.

Not a standard requirement, although some embassies near Timbuktu have requested such. Typically people provide just their initial hotel etc.

Hi, I didn’t submit a tenancy agreement for Thailand. I went through Siam legal and they didn’t request one. I went through Hanoi.
