There's no scam. According to their reply, you aren't eligible for the DTV visa. Like other folks mentioned above, it seems you made mistakes or u don't follow the requisites from the embassy. Did you show them JUST your portfolio and your bank account with money seasoned for 3 months?

Anonymous participant 206 well, according to what you just stated, it makes no sense hiring an agent cuz they can easily still milk you more if u are so desperate to hire one. Sometimes paying a ladydrink isn't enough to bring the girl out of the bar 😉 Someone noticed that you keep recommending agents and greasing the proce$$... Are you an agent by any chance?

Padkrapow4549 I already got my dtv but I'm here to help the others cuz the others have helped me while I was in s**t. I just pointed out that too many weird things have been happening on this page and it feels like that a lot of stories have been made up just to lead the audience to hire an agent and other stories about suggesting people to get the fast track while landing in chiang mai and none of them had a face nor a name.

I am skeptical and I don't believe everything on this group, especially when it comes from anonymous users who can just type down whatever they want. I could easily post anonymously stating that I got a dtv with just a single appointment to a generic doctor and showing them crypto instead of hard cash.

Padkrapow4549 what's your passport? did u previously have ed/non imm visa? did they require you extra documents?

Perhaps the other person doesn't have an extensive stay in thailand or red flags that could lead to deny his/her application while yours, despite showing 6 months course and money in the back has surely turnt on a few red flags 😉 I'm also curious, how have you met this other person? thats quite a coincidence

u can apply again the day after. Not sure if that's a good idea tho

@Walt *****
Even tho I applied with muay thai, I still got asked to show a very extensive documentation about my work, despite having way over 500k they asked me to show my salary going there for over 3 consecutive months. This was in taipei a few months ago but lately there are more and more posts of people getting the same in vietnam and indonesia.

If you are applying as unemployed then it might raise some worries and likely get denied,if you state that u got a job and u don't mind gambling 350us$ then go ahead. it's a hit or miss but surely if u got your payslip going into that account regularly and you can show that off, it's gonna be easier for you.

this kind of issue could be fixed easily like airlines do with their ticket. They could even ask for a fee to do that but instead they are greedy and they keep all the money. They know that they are going to apply again anyways...
