I’m 45 from the UK and will be taking early retirement next month and moving from the UK to Thailand permanently. I’ll still be receiving dividends from my UK company and using my UK bank card while living there (more than 180 days per year). Can anyone advise how I should handle my tax situation? I understand that funds remitted into Thailand in the same year is subject to Thai tax?

In 2015 I bought a house (main residence) in the UK for £525K with an interest only mortgage and a £200K deposit. The property is now valued at around £600K. So, if I use the original £200K deposit to buy something in Bangkok, presumably it’s tax except?

Hello. I'm looking to understand if it's possible to get a DTV visa based on a vegan cooking course. If anyone knows of such a course. How do I know for sure that the course gives me what I need for a visa. How much minimum time is needed. And if I have to renew the course every time or is one time enough to get a 5-year visa?

Thank you 🙏

From the moment your DTV is approved how soon do you have to enter Thailand?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I've been hearing different things from different people...

I have the DTV. I am about to exit for the first time, spend two weeks in another country, and then come back in.

I don't think I need to pay for a multiple-entry permit, correct? Because the DTV already is a multiple-entry visa... Am I mistaken?

The stamp in my passport does not say multiple entry, but just says "DTV" on the stamp.

When I exit the country, will they give me an exit stamp and give me a new entry one?

And do I need to bring anything with me besides my passport?

Thanks in advance!
