I was reading a post about non O retirement similar to my question but can't find it now.

If I travel to Thailand on non- O 0ver 50 in February open a bank account a and transfer 800k baht. Can I leave and apply for exit visa. Return on my same Non-O in mid June for 6 weeks and in that period when the 800k is seasoned apply for one year extension.

Second question if extension approved can I get a multi entry extension.

Hello! So glad I discovered this page. I’m a Canadian teacher who has been offered a job in Thailand. I did not being my original degrees, but I have have clear scanned copies of transcripts from two different universities, and I am registered with the Ontario College of Teacher. My name can be searched on their website. Is there somewhere here that will notarize a scanned copy? Will the Thai government accept that? There is a postal strike in Canada so that complicated things even more.

[Dependent Visa - APPROVED Hanoi]

I recently got my DTV visa after 10 working days (Vietnamese national) and applied for my spouse (British national) straight after.

He submitted his application on Sep 18 and got the visa in 5 working days. I don't think dependent visas necessarily take longer. In my case, it probably depended on the nationalities πŸ˜….

The visa was issued today - on a Sunday so it's definitive that the embassy does work on weekends.

I used the same account on Thaievisa website for both our applications. No need to create a separate account for the dependents if you can't be bothered.

I won't go into details unless s/o asks more specific questions. Just wanna clarify some stuff I personally wondered.

Please stop spreading news that Hanoi is getting more difficult, and you don't need an agency doing it for you either. Just research, be well prepared, and you'll get it! Good luck everyone 😁

Is it possible for your parents to stay with you in your condo while you are under DTV and they arrived under tourist visa. Talking about short stay like a couple days.

Hello, I already have a DTV. I just wanted to know when I'm traveling outside of Thailand and returning, when should I have the 500,000 baht in my home currency in my checking account? Since interest rates in my country are very high, I always have to keep the money invested in government bonds to avoid losing value and melting away. But I'm worried that immigration might ask for it and I don't have it in my checking account. How does that work? When do they ask to check? Thank you very much.

I have a 1 year Non-O visa where I'm currently under the 30 days consideration stamp after applying for another year extension.

I bought a re-entry permit and am now in my home country. My consideration stamp finishes on October 11th. This is a Saturday and I believe is a holiday on Monday and from what I understand I must go in on the next day they are open which would be October 14th, Tuesday to receive another 11 month stamp.

Because I can't get my extension/stamp until the 14th October anyways, could I fly back to Thailand from my home country on the 12th or the 13th while not invalidating my current visa?

Finally I have gotten a new passport as I ran out of pages, if that helps or doesn't with my case.

Hello everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the new Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). I qualify on the financial side since I have over $50,000 in liquid funds, and I can also provide my current employment proof at the time of application.

My question is:

πŸ‘‰ If I resign from my job after getting the DTV, will this cause any issue when I try to re-enter Thailand on the same visa? Does immigration actually check employment status at re-entry, or is showing funds enough?

Has anyone here faced or heard about this situation? Would really appreciate your guidance πŸ™
