It's probably still early days yet, but just so we know for sure through empirical evidence, has anyone already entered, exited and re-entered Thailand on their DTV and gotten a new 180-day stamp on their 2nd entry?

I did a search for "reenter" and "reentry" in the post history and I don't see anyone sharing that info yet. (I know we all understand that's how it's supposed to work but I'm just trying to make certain that someone's actually done it :))

As I said it's probably too early for anyone to have done that yet but if someone happens to, please do share!

Does the DTV need to be stamped within 90 days of receiving it? I would like to secure the DTV now; however, I do not plan to travel to Thailand for another ~6 months. Can anyone clarify if the DTV needs to be stamped in Thailand within 90 days of receiving it? Thank you!

I have a work permit but my passport is expiring next year. So, I plan to renew my passport from my home country as I will be going there in a few months.

I wanted to understand that when I come back to Thailand, do I just need to hand them over both my new and old passport(with the relevant stamps) or is something else also needed?

Hi All,

I have just flown back into Thailand today, but the immigration officer has only stamped me in for 30 days rather than the 60 days I am allowed on my multi entry visa. I only just realised when I got back to my accommodation. Can I go to an immigration office to have this corrected? Thanks in advance.

Hi there from Europe,

I recently received my Non-O Visa for 90 days based on Thai Wife through Thaievisa website.

I received basically a PDF file, is that the visa I must show when flying there and entering Thailand?

Normally in the past (for other visas at least) the passport was sent to immigration and returned to me with the whole page stamped as a visa.

Do I need to go to immigration when I land in Thailand so they put like the visa stamp on the entire passport page, or they will only do that after I extend my visa for 1 year?

Oh and finally, if I am staying in the same condo with the contract in my name, do I need to get a new TM-30 from immigration when arriving? My wife and I have been living there together for almost 2 years now and now we have been in Europe for almost 3 months.

Has anyone been in this situation and knows the answer? I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks a lot 🙏🏻

Hello, I just arrived on 60 day Tr visa which was stamped in my passport . I also applied for the OA visa which was approved by the Thai Consular in United States after arriving in Thailand. Do I need to leave Thailand by plane and come back thru Suvarnabhumi Airport for the OA visa to be stamped in my passport. I also have the medical insurance in case they ask for this. What would be the cheapest way to do this? Fly to Cambodia. Thank you..
