Hello to all,

I have done already 2 Visa Runs on Thailand on the North Border (by land both), everything was very smooth.

Now I want to make the 3rd by air, going to Malaysia, to stay in Thailand for the Christmas, after that I have other place to go.

🤔 Is it possible to make it (3rd)? By air is something different? Should I apply on Malaysia for a visitor visa or just get back to CNX? (Visa on Arrival?)

*If someone knows an agent who are good with this, please let me know. 🙏

DTV via Soft Power for Medical treatment? I am looking for Soft Power DTV and I see thai language course is not always accepted. I don't need Muay Thai.

I was wondering for Hair Loss Treatment (maybe one mesotherapy session each 4 months) as Medical treatment for Soft power. Do you think it could work?

I'm already looking into doing the treatment anyways so I thought I could take advantage of it.

Hi, I’m Iranian. I came to Bangkok one month ago on a tourist visa to look for a way to get a longer-term visa.

Someone suggested the DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) to me.

I know I have to leave Thailand to apply, but as an Iranian, which country should I go to — Laos, Vietnam, China, or somewhere else?

How long does the whole process take?

While the application is being processed, can I return to Iran, or do I have to stay in the country where I submit the application?

Also, is a personal interview required, or can everything be done online?

How much does the visa process cost in total?

And finally — is Bangkok a good place to live for now, considering that I don’t have a job yet and I just want to apply for a visa so I can later find work there?

I paid for an e-visa in August from Thai consulate in London, so I thought that I had 90 days straight through without having to report to immigration as I would have done when if I arrived on visa exempt, but when I arrived in Bangkok I was stamped in for 60 days and told I had to report to immigration on or before date stamped, so I thought fair enough just a formality, ooh more to pay. WRONG after being processed get to counter and Told 2000 Baht please. So why did I have to pay Thai embassy for e-visa and then pay another 2000Baht to the immigration office. Surely that tells me one thing that getting an e-visa is a waste of time and money. Grouse over😠😡

I applied for a DTV Visa in Ho Chi Minh and it just got rejected. I had all the necessary documents from my Muay Thai school and showed them over 40k€ over 3 months of bank statements. The only reason I can think of why I got rejected is because I'm currently unemployed and they might be worried that 40k isn't enough for 5 years. But then again the requirment for the visa is 500k which is much less than what I have.

Now my question is can I try to apply straight away at another embassy? If so, which one is considered easier than Ho Chi Minh? I read on here that Ho Chi Minh is quite strict. Would it be a good idea to apply in Hanoi? That would be the most convenient for me as I'm already in Vietnam.
