Yes, I did. I read about another case very similar to mine also getting rejected in Ho Chi Minh and they believed it was because of them being unemployed. I also believe this, because they asked for additional documents twice in regards to proof of income. I included the bank statement of 3 months showing a balance over 40.000€ right away and then asked me for proof of income. I then told them I was currently unemployed. After that they asked how I intend to sustain myself while being unemployed and I told them that I intend to provide for myself with the 40.000€ I have showed them, which are much more than the required 500k THB.

That's why asked for recommendations for other embassies. Thanks for you recommendations. I might try it in Laos then!

Please read my post again. I mentioned 40k€ the first time and then left out the € because I thought it wasn't necessary to include the € a second time when I did so previously, as it should be clear.

Like mentioned in my post, I showed 40k€ (€=Euro) which is about 3 times the required amount.
