Please hid my identity I lost my passport in Thailand and re applyd through embassy in Thailand and the passport have not yet arrived and my visa is expiring in two days I have police clearance, affidavit and a letter from the embassy requesting for 30 days extension what should I do

During my last visits to immigration, I saw an incredible number of passports, some of which had been brought by agencies. There were lots of people queuing at each counter to present their passports for various reasons. My question: has it ever happened to any of you, independently of agencies or yourself, that your passport was lost? If so, what did you do to solve the problem, because the passport is the most important document?

If you get in person, they put in your passport right. So what if you lose it or need a new one. Can we ask them to email a digital version as well when we apply, or how would we get a new one…

in january, i was on my way back to work and had to spend the night in bangkok, I had my passport in the same pocket as my cell phone, needless to say i lost my passport. went to police to do a report, also was very lucky to get an appointment at the consulate the next day.... while applying for my new passport I was given a letter stating the details of replaced passport, and was told I need this when I apply to get visa stamps in my new passport...

I had to leave thailand as soon as I recieved new passport and didnt have to time to go through the process of updating my docs.. So when I get to where I work, of coarse my docs need to get updated and immigration wanted the letter from the consulate, with the impression I would get it back... Now they refuse to return it, which is causing some huge grief. Ive finally had my passport returned, but not the letter.

Im now trying to get a new letter from consulate, but havent gotten very far, hopefully they will issue another one, but Im not counting on it.. I'm hoping Thai immigration will accept a copy of the letter when applying for new stamps....

never loose your passport, its a horrible situation to be in, im still months away from clearing most things up... but the clincher is the Retirement visa stamp..

Hey! One quick question: if someone loses a passport with 2 months tourist visa stamp and apply for a new one in the Embassy, where can that person get the new pasaport stamped, in Bangkok? Or any inmigration office?

I held an A-O long Stay VISA, and got the annual Extensions (and Multiple re-entry Stamps)

In February , while in the US, My RV was broken into, and my documents were stolen.

(Passport, and more)

Proper police reports were filed.

I have since received a New Passport.

and I returned to Thailand, but entered as VISA Exempt.

Good until next Month.

Is there a method to get my information stamped into my New Passport?

I do have good Photo copies of the original PP with the Extensions, and Multiple re-Entry Stamps.

I report in Surat Thani.

(US Citizen)

I have NOT applied for the E-VISA,

But have prepared all of the required documentation (just in case)

Have any of you dealt with a similar predicament?

Lost passport and now i got a new passport i want to ask aside from police report, letter from the embassy, copy of old passport n visa (non-O) is there any other requirement to submit? where can i transfer it at Chaengwattana or IT square?

Hi Group .. a friend from Canada arrived in Chiang Mai last week on VOA. He lost his passport and is now in the process of getting a new one. What does he need to do to put his entry stamp back on the new passport? TIA 🙏

So I lost my passport and my visa expires on 5 January as the uk is so backlogged will need to get an emergency passport, do I then need to get my visa stamped in it at the immigration office in Bangkok?
