Hello,

I remember reading an article about a month ago that stated that Thailand was going to implement a program, sometime near the end of this year, where you would essentially apply for entry approval prior to arrival even if you were from the USA where we currently get a 60 stamp on arrival. The article indicated that it would help speed up immigration and reduce any potential problems. From what I read it sounded very similar to the "Thailand Pass QR" system that was used during the intial opening of the Thai border following the Covid lockdowns. I apologize in advance for not remembering clear details of the article.

My purpose for bringing this up is that I have a trip booked from USA and I'm scheduled to arrive on January 1, 2025, so I want to make sure that I'm prepared. This will be my third trip to Thailand, and I really looking forward to it!

Thank you in advance for any and all input, and please know that I truly appreciate your help.

Hi everyone! I am currently employed until the end of November, and then I will become a freelance programmer by registering for a sole proprietorship. So I do not have any freelancer contract yet.

Is it possible to apply for DTV visa now, only with the registration and current employment letter?

Thank you!!

HCMC Thai embassy slots seems to be all booked up until October. Does anyone know if they are moving their services online after October? (DTV)

Hi, has anyone applied for the Thailand new DTV visa and received it? How many days did it take to get the application approved ?

I know the process and the time required for approval, but unfortunately, it's taking longer than I expected. I was just wondering if anyone has already been approved, and how long it took from the day the application was submitted to receiving approval.

Thank you .

Hiya campers eventually I want to retire to thailand , but for the foreseeable future I would like to visit 3 times a year ... Dec/Jan > May / June > Dec / Jan . Should I get a multi entry visa or will I be OK to do this with no problems without that visa ? ... Your thoughts would be appreciated ...
