I have searched the search box function and dint quite get the answer I was looking for.

Is there a reputable cooking class in Hua Hin I could take to also help with the DTV?

Also from what I read , I apply for DTV first and once I get approved then I apply for my 7 year old son?Is that correct? Would he also need a class? Would they ask for bank info for him? He will not be going to an international school but a worldschooling/ alternative school.

Thank you for any advice.😊

As a family is it better to to a DTV visa in Laos (physically) or take the chance and do evisa in Vietnam ( will take longer as first I need to get DTV and only then the family can follow)

Driving a Saleng.

Can anyone advise me whether a foreigner obtaining a regular Thai motorcycle driving licence qualifies the individual to drive a saleng?

Reason I ask is that I know in Thailand it’s the vehicle, rather than the driver, which is insured.

Consequently, I know I can drive a borrowed car with a Thai driving licence (or IDP for the first three months) and I can drive a borrowed motorcycle with a Thai motorcycle licence.

I’m told a foreigner cannot drive a Songthaew (Baht-Bus) and am wondering if the same applies to a saleng (as well as a tuk-tuk).

I have access to cars, motorcycles and a saleng owned by the Thai extended family I am staying with.

Any experienced advice would be gratefully received.

Planning to do dtv evisa in Hanoi for myself and family. Now that it is evisa, from my understanding I need to apply first for myself and only then once I get it I can apply for the rest of the family.how many days should it take? Or is there a way to apply for all of us at one time? I need to consider if to take a round trip or just one way flight as I'm currently in Thailand.

Planning to do DTV evisa under Muay Thai in Hanoi. Currently not working. Is it not a problem to put under occupation "unemployed"? Will it not damage my chances to get the DTV? Although I do plan to register income as I have income from rent.

Or is the occupation filed just to understand what you do in life as I'm applying under Muay Thai course.

Just applied in Taipei this morning. Was asked to return to get the result at 3p. Showed up early and was told I was approved around 2:30p. Back tomorrow at 4pm to pick it up. Line was really short today being that they were closed yesterday. In and out this morning in 30-40mins.
