I have searched the search box function and dint quite get the answer I was looking for.

Is there a reputable cooking class in Hua Hin I could take to also help with the DTV?

Also from what I read , I apply for DTV first and once I get approved then I apply for my 7 year old son?Is that correct? Would he also need a class? Would they ask for bank info for him? He will not be going to an international school but a worldschooling/ alternative school.

Thank you for any advice.😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information on reputable cooking classes in Hua Hin that could assist with obtaining a DTV visa. They want to confirm the correct process for applying for a visa for themselves and their 7-year-old son, noting that their son will not be attending an international school but a worldschooling/alternative school. Responses clarified that the son can obtain a DTV visa as a dependent and typically does not require bank information, especially since children under 14 are treated differently regarding visa overstays.

Your son can get a DTV visa as dependant, most embassies will not ask for bank info for him.

Without a visa your son can overstay in Thailand without being punished because of his age.

He will get an overstay stamp, but tht is all.

So you could consider not getting a visa for him

Your son should be allowed to follow on with your visa. Children from my previous and current understanding is that they only require a visa after 14 years of age. He will not get an education visa from an unregistered international school.
