Today I entered for the first time with DTV in Bangkok.

The friendly lady in the row for Thai passports had no problem at all with my DTV evisa and Dutch passport.

DTV - London evisa approved - workcation

Relatively easy with the right docs.

Provided:

Letter from employer addressed to the Thai Embassy in London saying I have permission to work in Thailand.

Scan of Drivers license (the card)for proof of address.

Bank statement showing about £13,000 - I asked my bank to send me a statement for just a few days so it did not contain any transactions.

Proof of visa payment

Extra document was requested about 24 hours after the initial application- contract of employment.

After submitting the requested document, the visa was approved on a Sunday 48 hours later.

Only slightly worrying part of the process was that when I first went to pay for the visa, the system sent me some weird error message and I couldn’t pay. To solve the issue , I just completed the forms again and on the 2nd attempt, the payment portal worked.

Has anyone submitted the DTV eVisa application to the Greek Consulate in Athens? 🇬🇷

I’m planning to submit mine soon and would love to hear from anyone who has already gone through the process. How many days did it take for your DTV eVisa to be processed? Any tips or advice would be much appreciated! 🙏

Looking forward to your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Dunno if this helps, but this is how it all took place for me...

I applied DTV (eVisa)

Status was 'Peding Document Check' for over 5 weeks!!! 😣😣🤧

Phone reply: Write an email

Email reply: Wait Patiently

😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Finally, I walk-in to the consulate during visa-visiting-hours, on a thursday, this is 5+ weeks after I applied ...

Within 30 seconds they check that all is in order and make it 'Pending Approval'

Three days later (Sunday) 9pm (at night) Approved. 🙂

Then apply for my spouse, Next working day it moves to 'pending approval'. A week or so later, it's Sunday again, and BOOM, 1pm (afternoon) Approved. 🙂

Is it possible to go back to Thailand while DTV eVisa is pending?

I have an active ED visa until end of this year and plan to go to Vietnam next week to apply for DTV. Since next week there is a public holiday I am not sure if they'll be able to finish it until the end of the week and I'm wondering if technically I only have to be physically in Vietnam during the day of application?

Then if I get approved I'd just fly out again and come back on DTV. Just wanted to clarify if thats possible

Planning to do dtv evisa in Hanoi for myself and family. Now that it is evisa, from my understanding I need to apply first for myself and only then once I get it I can apply for the rest of the family.how many days should it take? Or is there a way to apply for all of us at one time? I need to consider if to take a round trip or just one way flight as I'm currently in Thailand.

Planning to do DTV evisa under Muay Thai in Hanoi. Currently not working. Is it not a problem to put under occupation "unemployed"? Will it not damage my chances to get the DTV? Although I do plan to register income as I have income from rent.

Or is the occupation filed just to understand what you do in life as I'm applying under Muay Thai course.
