Planning to do dtv evisa in Hanoi for myself and family. Now that it is evisa, from my understanding I need to apply first for myself and only then once I get it I can apply for the rest of the family.how many days should it take? Or is there a way to apply for all of us at one time? I need to consider if to take a round trip or just one way flight as I'm currently in Thailand.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could kindly assist me with few question below regarding the visa extension process. We are now on 90 day Non-Im Ed/O.

We are a family of four. Our two children have Non-IMG ED visas, and my husband and I have Non-IMG O visas, supporting our child who studies at an international school in Bangkok.

1. On the day of the appointment for the visa extension, can either the mother or father submit the documents on behalf of the family, or do all four family members, including both parents and children, need to be present at the immigration bureau?

2. How many days before the expiration date of our 90-day Non-IMG visas should we visit the immigration bureau to apply for an extension?

3. For our family of four, should we book four separate appointments, or is one appointment sufficient for the entire family?

4. Which branch of the immigration bureau in Bangkok should we go to for the visa extension?

5. Finally, how long does the visa extension process typically take?

Additionally, could anyone kindly provide the most recent handouts or documents for the non-ED/guardian visa?

Thank you in advance for your help ❤️

I'm preparing to go to Chaeng Watthana in a few days to apply for a 30-day "can't travel due to COVID" extension with embassy letters for my family. I understand I'll need to do this at Chaeng Watthana Counter L given that we entered on Non-Immigrant O single entry visas back in March.

Two questions:

1. Do I need to bring my whole family with me? We have a baby and a toddler.

2. My wife had her passport renewed a few months back. Can I get her Non-O transfered into her new passport book at Counter L or is there a specific desk where this must be done. How long might this part of the process take? (We have a transfer request letter from her embassy for this.)

Thanks - ALWAYS appreciate your advice.
