Planning to do dtv evisa in Hanoi for myself and family. Now that it is evisa, from my understanding I need to apply first for myself and only then once I get it I can apply for the rest of the family.how many days should it take? Or is there a way to apply for all of us at one time? I need to consider if to take a round trip or just one way flight as I'm currently in Thailand.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a DTV eVisa in Hanoi, you need to first apply as the main holder. After receiving your visa, you can then apply for your spouse and dependents by referencing your visa number. It's unclear if there is an option to apply for all applications simultaneously, so checking with the consulate may provide clarification.
Main DTV holder first, then the spouse/dependants reference the main holders visa number. You might email them and ask if they have a streamlined group process for this type of application.
