Hi All, so I have been back from my first Thailand now two weeks and already booked to go again in July two weeks ago. Next year I am wanting to go for 60 days and apply for the 60 day tourist visa. Is the best way to do this online? If so, when should I apply for it in time? For example, let's say I am aiming to go January 10th next year how long before this should I apply? Is it possible to get an appointment online to submit applications for an individual? I understand that people who travel with an agency can get appointments online but it seems the system doesn't allow for individual applicants (without an agency) to book an appointment online.

When I went there last time, I just walked in and joined the queue already seated inside. But a friend said it's different now, and you have to have an appointment? How does it work?

My son has a Thai drivers license that expired in January 2024. Did it through a driving school. He is currently abroad and will return in April.

Can he re-apply for a renewal at any dept of Transport with a medical certicate, his old license card , but what about proof of residence? Can he use mine as I have a work permit? He will always return here on a tourist visa now.

Tourist Multi Entry Visa.

On the form it says valid for

6 months. But can only stay 60 days.. how can you stay for 6 months.. Do we need to border hop a few times or am I looking at wrong visa for me...From Australia
