Need urgent help for my DTV application please. My flight is next week and I just received a request for additional documents for my DTV (Destination Thailand Visa). The request:

1. Other request documents: Upload recent pay slip from the company that must show your full name and company's name.

*- I don't receive a payslip. I receive a direct wire transfer/direct deposit into my checking account. Can I provide a statement showing this?*

2. Other request documents: Upload an employment verification letter from an employer or self-employer that include the full name, position, *digital nomad/ remote worker, period of employment and signed by the authorized i.e. HR department or manager (Issue within 6 months)

*- I'm not an employee therefore I don't have an employment verification letter. I have a couple of contracts with my clients.*

3. Other request documents: Upload financial evidence or recent bank statement only that include date of issue, your full name: amount of more than THB 500,000 or USD 16,000.

*- I had previously uploaded my bank statement showing this. Why are they asking for this again? I provided bank statement along with my investment account statement as an add-on.*

I previously provided all the documents, but I am being requested again for this. Given the timeline of my flight, I want to make sure I am providing the correct documents.

Can anyone please provide guidance on what docs I should be providing in my case? Thank you very much!

Recently got my Non-ED visa extended, I got the Ed plus stamp as below, it is written "exemption of re-entry permit", so I will not be needing to apply for a re entry permit as stated in the ED Plus poster?

I plan to travel to Thailand from USA in January and stay for three months. In the past I have applied for a 60 day visa, then gotten a 30 day extension after 60 days. Is that still the procedure I must follow? It included sending an application to the office in Los Angles with my passport, my financials, pictures, passport and flight and hotel reservations. I’m hoping all that has been streamlined. Please tell me what the requirements are now. I have visited Thailand for each of the past 25 years.

Hey! Have a question regarding DTV visa.

How long do you have to be enrolled in a course in Muay Thai or a cooking course

-------------

Hej! Har en fråga gällande DTV visa.

Hur länge måste man vara anmäld på kurs i Muay Thai eller en matlagningskurs

From France (350€): Apply on 22th september and just get approved the 17 october ... (Yes, it's very long !!!!)!

With the DTV holder number, we can apply now FOR THE REST OF FAMILY : Wife (350 € more ) and kid (I still don't know if we must pay 350 € for a little lucky boy of 4 years too..)...

So it's long and quite expensive for family ...

Just got my DTV approved! From Canberra, Australia. Approval email just came in at 11pm. Took 4 business days total. Went through the Medical treatment route.

For financial evidence I submitted a 'Proof of Balance' letter from my bank. It wasn't a bank statement with a transaction history, it literally just says on their bank letterhead, my name, address, bank account details, and current available balance.

For medical treatment evidence I went to the Bangkok Hospital last month for my chronic condition and saw a specialist as an outpatient. I told him about my condition and he said he can treat me. I asked him to write a letter for the Visa. He wrote a letter saying my diagnosis and how I will need treatment for at least 5 years and he believes I would be best treated in Thailand instead of Australia due to my symptoms not improving as much here. They gave me an appointment slip for my next appointment on 1/11.

When I lodged the application with all this information, 3 business days later the Thai Embassy requested a proper letter of confirmation for my next appointment. I thought they missed the appointment slip so I uploaded it again. They rejected it again so I figured it wasn't enough. I called Bangkok Hospital and got them to do me an official letter of confirmation and forwarded that on. Next business day I got my approval! Surprised to see it came in at 11pm.

I input my arrival date on the visa as 1/11 even though my appointment letter of confirmation from the hospital says it's 24/11 (I changed it). So it's been approved 1 month prior to my actual next appointment.

Hope this helps anyone in the same boat!

In BKK: I asked my expat doctor (could only talk to the staff) of over half a year if they could give me 5 - 6 appointments over the course of the next 12 months. And then just provide a Letter stating those treatments.

They answered: We're generally open to do this but have to talk to our lawyer first?!

Do you have any advice? It's a real and fair thing I regularly am at this doctor for treatment(s) and thought it would be a simple thing.

2. Alternatively: is there a doctor/ clinic that is a little bit better when it comes to treatments and a Letter about those future treatments?

Any BKK recommendations? Because I don't care where I eg get my regular testosterone blood checks done.

Thanks!!

90 days report completed yesterday.

My process:

- Went to Immigration Division 1 in Lak Si (I had initially tried Chamchuri Square, but they sent me to Lak Si).

- Once inside the building, immigration is on the right. Walk in, get a TM47 form from the first counter, and then queue at the counter inside.

- Complete the TM47 form.

- Wait (in my case 4h). You can scan the QR code on your queue ticket to get live updates.

- Receive the 90-day report slip. No questions were asked, although I noticed that the staff seemed a bit lost as they chatted a lot among themselves, likely because I was one of the first to go through this process.

Please note that this was my experience—your process might differ, and the immigration officer could ask for more information.
