I’m wondering what would happen if I do follow Visa On Arrival sign. I’ll be in a wheelchair (knee operation) and the person pushing me might make that mistake.
yes, I think it’s now clear. Glad not to have to apply sending everything to California. Now just show up in Thailand with my return ticket 90 days after arrival. But still apply in Thailand for 30 additional days after 60. Days. Simple.
. Thank you very much. I have always had my return flight booked for 90 days after my arrival and will do likewise this trip. Such a relief not to have to go through the Visa process months before traveling.
I did that in the past but I had to deal with the embassy in California by sending copy of bank account, passport, flight tickets, health records, money and a few other documents. Then they would send me a 60 day visa. I then could extend for an additional 30 days. Did this fo4 about 10 years I think. Are you saying now I just fly to Bangkok without anything done before leaving on my flight? Seems way too easy.
. Thanks. So now I just land in Bangkok with just my return flight ticket dated 90 days later. But I apply for an additional 30 days just before the 60 days are up. Seems too easy compared to what I l have done in the past.
Jerry, I just applied and got mine from thr LA office all within 4 days. Fill out the form for a 60 day visa correctly and you should hear back within a week. Once yo7 are in Thailand and near the end of the 60 days you can apply for 30 more days. You will have 90 days then. When you get your 60 day visa, you have 90 days to travel to Thailand.
