How can I obtain a Letter for medical treatments from my doctor in Bangkok?

In BKK: I asked my expat doctor (could only talk to the staff) of over half a year if they could give me 5 - 6 appointments over the course of the next 12 months. And then just provide a Letter stating those treatments.

They answered: We're generally open to do this but have to talk to our lawyer first?!

Do you have any advice? It's a real and fair thing I regularly am at this doctor for treatment(s) and thought it would be a simple thing.

2. Alternatively: is there a doctor/ clinic that is a little bit better when it comes to treatments and a Letter about those future treatments?

Any BKK recommendations? Because I don't care where I eg get my regular testosterone blood checks done.

Thanks!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster seeks advice on obtaining documentation from their expat doctor in Bangkok for ongoing treatments. After being informed that the clinic needs to consult their lawyer regarding documenting appointments, the poster is looking for alternative clinics or doctors who may be more accommodating. Suggestions from commentors include trying Bumrungrad Hospital or Mission Hospital, where Dr. Nick, an American physician, is recommended for his willingness to help with such requests.

it’s your decision what to apply for, but it’s the Thai immigration’s business to decide if you picked the right one

But up to the discretion of the embassy officers if they will reject your application, when the is a better suited visa for your purpose.

I insisted on the DTV visa for 5 minutes. Showing their website and asking them why they put the DTV visa requirements for medical treatment so detailed on the website.

Try Mission Hospital Dr Nick, he is American but lived here for 20+ years. Always been great. Just book an appointment with him (about 700bt ) and tell him what you need I'm sure he would be happy to help
