Holiday visa to Ireland was granted recently for TGF. It's a single entry Visa. Ireland is not a Schengen country. Can we go to different European countries or is she stuck and can't leave until visa expires?

We were thinking of dividing our time between Thailand and Vietnam. Rather than getting the 0 visa and having to tie up 800k thb, we were thinking of entering Thailand with a 60-day tourist visa, extending it once for 30 more days, then spending the next 3 months in Vietnam and returning to Thailand with another 60-day visa + 30 day extension.

I saw a post saying that you can't spend more than 3 months in the country on a tourist visa within any 6-month period, so this route may not be possible? If this is the case, is getting the multiple-entry 0 visa the best way to stay longer? We would prefer not to tie up 800k/pp in a bank if we can avoid it.

We're US citizens, age 50+.

Hi guys, a quick maybe strange question. We got a SMS with an update, that your visa proses application is ready to be picked up. But nowhere can we find if the status was approved or no. And when we go to the vfs global to track our status, it says it doesn't recognize our reference number. Can't call either, cause they are closed in thailand now. Is there a different way to check the status, or just wait for the passport to arrive? It's for dutch tourist visum. Thanks

Hi. I’ve been here for 2 years on an ED visa. In April I am planning to go to Laos with a bus company and return back to Chiang Mai on the same day with a tourist visa. Then apply for a Non imm O and then a year extension for retirement. Read a post earlier suggesting that after 2 years this can be problematic, even though my circumstances sound different.

I’m wondering if it might be wise to take my belongings with me just in case?

Will my bank book be helpful showing funds?

Also, after taking much heart from the posts here I plan to take responsibility of all my own visa and immigration affairs myself, bypassing an agent. As always, very grateful for your replies.

I have a Full Australian drivers license, if my license was cancelled or suspended can I apply for a Thai driver’s license by taking driving lessons and a driving test to the satisfaction of the examiner in Thailand and then be issued a new Thai drivers license ?

Ed Visa Help - Applying form UK

Hey guys I need some help, we have decided on the school we want for our daughters in Phuket, and we are back in London - I’ve been advised to get the Ed visa process started here.

I’ve been on hold to the Thai embassy for ages, is there an online application form for the Ed visa or do I need to take my docs and go the Thai embassy in London and do it all there in person?

Sick of waiting on hold so wanted to see if anyone is in the know.

Do you need to provide proof on a flight leaving Thailand when applying for the multiple entry tourist visa as a uk citizen ? Or can I just provide my flight into Thailand ?

Hiya everyone , well I did get my 30 day extension on Tuesday. Got to the Jomtien visa place 7.45 and there was already 5or6 hundred before me. So I thought that I might as well pay for my mistake and used one of the young visa lawyers. Cost me 2 thousand Bht extra but was worth it. Was only there 30 mins and the girlfriend drove me back this morning , in & out in 10 mins drove all the way along Jomtien seafront to a big seafood restaurant and had lunch. So all's well that ends well .😁
