Email confirmation definitely states OA Visa but given all the requirements I am thinking it will be easier to go down the non O Visa pathway šŸ¤ž

I tried UPDOC here in Australia and they couldn’t help me - said I needed to see a Dr in person

it’s a complicated situation- my brother died in Chiang Mai and I am executor of his affairs- it’s essential that I open a Thai bank account in my name in order to finalise his financial affairs- SCB bank in Chiang Mai where my brother has an account have informed me I need an OA Visa to do this

may I ask did you need to see a specialist visa Dr to obtain your medical certificate? My local Dr refused to do it and has referred me to Bupa Visa Medical service - will likely cost $1000 Aus to have all the tests

thanks for your reply- the non O Visa process is much simpler - I need a Thai bank account to finalise my brother’s estate ( he died whilst residing in Thailand)
