Hi all, I need to get a residence certificate from Chiang Mai Immigration. I have heard this can take 2 weeks as they will only post the certificate to your address- if is this the case, is there any way to fast track it? Thanks 🙏
Answer summary
The process for obtaining a residence certificate from Chiang Mai Immigration typically takes around two weeks as it is mailed to your registered address. However, there seem to be various options for expediting the process. Some users reported being able to obtain their certificates on the same day for a fee of ฿500 or through other services offering next-day pickup for around ฿1000. It's important to check with the current procedures at the Chiang Mai Immigration office, as rules may change.

Our prominent posters and Mods here can tell you how useless Yellow book, Thai Pink ID for foreigners are.
Graham Seal It is Thai nation wide IT. Sa Kaew, my wife wiped out her residence from there (Wang Sombun) and got a new one, new Blue Book for our Bangkok Condo.
not anymore. New management at chiang mai immigration. The colonel across the street no longer offers this service and there is no 500thb expedite service. Only option now is apply in person and have it mailed to your tm 30 address. I just applied for two on dec26 and received them on January 8th.
