Hi, can anyone confirm the required amount of cover for health insurance when applying for the OA Visa from Australia? The Thai Visa site says cover of $3m baht but I’ve read somewhere ( can’t remember where lol) that it’s $4M when applying through the Thai Embassy in Sydney
Thanks all
TLDR : Answer Summary
The general requirement for health insurance when applying for the OA Visa from Australia is $100,000 USD or THB 3,000,000. There are some mentions of $4 million, especially when applying through the Thai Embassy in Sydney, but the official standard appears to be the equivalent of 3 million baht. For the Non-O Visa, there are no insurance requirements.
