@John ******
looks like they used an agent and it was submitted hence its "pending" in other words it was submitted BUT no word from RTE (unless it was a pure scam)

i assume you talking about LTR visa there are various categories depending on your circumstances i got wealthy pensioner which was relatively easy i dont recall them even asking about criminal record (i didnt have to prove anything) you can go to the online application to see what you need search BOI LTR thailand

first tip is to learn the proper name of the city you in!

i flew same airline and they wanted to charge me for my wife and 2 kids its all about money for them
Tim *******
that sucks. i applied for wife who has only one name, they provide no instructions how to overcome problem (they force you to put in 2 names) so i followed what airlines allow - insert name twice (oh and that was accepted by the UK Thai embassy (different RTE) on a previous issued visa) REJECTED and lost all money

DTV must report every 90 days in country, just because you dont doesnt make it ok. (fyi when i break the law and dont get caught doesnt make it legal)

while there are a few "retirement" visas but the best one (IMO) is the "LTR visa" have a look to see if you can qualify, it has advantages. DTV works as well but as others said have a look at the qualifications.
