Face recognition worked at Bangkok Bank but wouldn’t work at Krungsri so not the phone.

A colleague used an agent to put the money in the bank, next renewal he had his own money. The IO looked at his bank book, he said you use agent before use one again. Moral is if you plan to do that get a new bank book which doesn’t show the funds in and out in few hours.by an agent.

No need to, i arrived last week, immigration didn’t request any paperwork, it was on the screen in front of them.

You provide all the documents for the agent, they might have to do a couple of translations, they then upload them to the VFS site. A trip to Bangkok is required for a biometric fingerprint in and out in a few minutes provided you made an appointment. Good earner for an agent starting at

baht. Do it yourself, I struggled the first time but after bit of research managed, I have done another 3 since the first one.

Being the ever pessimist Thailand we’re going introduce a 300 baht arrival tax which has been put on hold. I bet once the system has been in place for a bit they will add a fee of 300 baht the same as you do before going to The States.
