Has anyone had issues transferring Thai Banking apps to a new phone. 3 days in 2 banks Bangkok and Krungsri one sorted Bangkok albeit for some reason i can’t log into my account. It’s saying wrong user name and password. Krungsri no luck, face recognition wouldn’t work, manager said head office will call me in 3 days, still waiting for the call.

My U.K. bank app sorted in minutes with online security checks being carried out up and running now.

I had to go into bkk bank for them to sort it couple of years ago

Bring passport and phone to the bank and they will help you sort it out. K bank.

I took them to Krungsri, they couldn’t sort it out. They said head office will call me that was 4 days ago, still no call ?

yes was without app for 18 months, some of the time was in Oz. 20-30 hours in the bank I decided a factory reset would work, it did not help from Bangkok bank

Got same issue could not get the face recognition on my iPhone I had to buy a Samsung to get the app running , but was because my front camera not that good anymore .

Face recognition worked at Bangkok Bank but wouldn’t work at Krungsri so not the phone.

With me the Bangkok bank app. did not work. After I removed vpn and virusscan app (Avast) it worked. After re-installing the vpn and virusscan, it kept working. Maybe worth a check if relevant 🤷‍♂️

If I'm not mistaken, ive read about others having this problem after changing phones. It was bcus the banking info is on the original SIM card on your old cell. So I "think" you need to keep the same SIM card that was used when u installed the banking app
