All hotels I check in enter passport details through the system, friend works in hotel has to register every guest with immigration. This week I helped friend move to another condo, first thing the owner did once contact was signed was asked for passport details to register online, not in person. Many friends stay in my home, some for a week, some longer I report every foreigner to immigration

they have Thai passport so have citizenship?

better you email several direct, they certainly don't offer long term TRAVEL insurance, but health cover I am sure they will, I certainly never been asked for visa, but will need a fixed address

I know 2 foreigners who have got Thai citizenship, both speak Thai fluently, have local wives and long term businesses. It can be done, but long slow process as limited amounts of applications per year
