I think getting drilled at immigration is far worst. Prepare a visa application at ones leisure from home, even ask a friend for guidance is a better idea

you can do it easy BUT not constantly as it appears you are working or abusing the system.

He can get a tourist 3 month visa prior to coming here online and avoid l this stress.

IMO first hand experiences are very important too, agents will make promises which often are not kept

yes if one is unfortunate to need chemo but my insurance covers any stay over 3 hours, so in the past when have a colonoscopy for instance they have paid the costs

I am with Allianz Ayudhya and previously with companies who have merged with them. I took out the policy 23 years ago, when fit and healthy, in later years I increased the cover and they have paid I'd guess 20 claims, the highest being over 200,000 baht without any surgery. They pay the hospital direct but I have no cover as an outpatient and now in later 60's my premium is almost 100,000 per year. I don't know if they offer something to part time residents, but they do have a huge office in Bangkok.
