Answer summary

A British passport holder needs to apply for a 30-day extension at the Jomtien immigration office. It's mentioned that applications can typically be made within the last week before their current visa expires, but some users suggest trying to apply a bit earlier if the applicant has specific difficulties. It's advisable to contact the immigration office directly to explain the situation.

Usually, Jomtien accepts 30 days tourism extension within the last week (when an applicant's permission to stay is less than a week left).

But I guess you can try to go or call Jomtien to try to apply for it early by explaining the situation if the last week of the stamp doesn't work.

The worst thing they would say is: no, come back in the last week.
