Update :-) Legged it straight from Amphur so stopped in Roi Et and bought a cheap workhorse printer to coppy all docs as Tabien Ban was updated and New ID card for wife, decent printer for 1200 baht lol Followed someone's reccomendation of riverfront hotel, I have paid over £100 and stayed in worse than this for 800 baht. Any ad ice on best time to cross? Plan to drive and park next to bridge afer brekkie.

Lol we took 4 lol last friday they went through all docs again and changed wifes names 3 hours !! I asked them should I check into hotel while they finished, at least they laughed lol

Yes its a bloody nightmare to do from here as I found out and many solicitors would not accept our divorce document was original as they no longer stamp them with a red seal!!I got my daughter to stick a £10 note in and it was fine, took about 3 weeks to get done in uk then another 3 to hget here and when it arrived it was soaking wet and we had to dry it out before opening!! Good old Thai potman lol

It is also critical in the case your Thai partner divorced in the UK as a copy of original the divorce document also has to be signed by a solicitor or ontary public then legalised in the UK if you wish to marry in Thailand.

Hi. To the OP, why is your description "living on the edge?". I ahree people doing back to back visa exempt border runs, extensions etc that is more than on the edge. Why is it on the edge if I work in a country , return to thailnd for 10 days then leave to work for 8 weeks, then return for another 10 or 15 days ? Facebook is no different to the rest of he internet, only post or share what you dont mind others seeing or using.
